Grace Arlene Goode-Jackson, 76, Davenport, died Tuesday, July 8, 1997,at
Genesis Medical Center, West Campus, Davenport.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial isin Pine
Hill Cemetery, Davenport.
Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Memorials to the family.
Grace was born the daughter of LeRoy and Hester Goff in Batavia, Iowa,on
April 2, 1921. She married Melvin Goode June 13, 1935. She and Melvinhad
seven children. He died Aug. 15, 1971. She married Roy Jackson June21, 1989.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Patricia Ann Goode Brodersonand
Betty Jane Goode-Pietzonka, sons, Melvin Jr., Wayne Charles and JamesRobert,
all of Davenport; a brother, Leonard, Fairfield; a sister, HelenLewis,
Ottumwa; 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and four
great-great-grandchildren.
