Fall of 1854 Streator, LaSalle Co, IL. Descendants said they movedthere before their first child was born 1/1855 so it had to be shortlyafter they married.
6/4/1860 Reading Twp, Livingston Co, IL. At census time AlfredFlanegan was 28, wife Mary was 26, both born in OH. Their childrenwere Cinderilla, 5, born IL; George W, 3, born IN; and Willis H, 3 mo,born IL. Alfred was a farm laborer, no real or personal property wasrecorded for him. .
8/17/1870 Town of Reading, Livingston Co, IL. Recorded in the censusthere were Alfred Flanigan, 39, born OH; wife Mary, 36, also born inOH; and children: Cinderella, 15, George, 13, Henry, 10, Minerva, 7and Anna, 5 mo (born Dec), all born in IL. Alfred was a coal miner,as were most of the neighbors.

3/1/1885 Montgomery Co, KS. In the state census were farmer AlfredFlannigam, 53, Mary, 51, and daughters Annie, 15, Ellen, 11, andLillie, 5. Alfred and Mary were born in OH, Annie and Ellen in IL,and Lillie in KS. They had moved from IL to KS.
His parents were in the 1840 census in Salt Creek where he most likelywas born.
The 1900 census says the father of both George and Lilly was born inPA but that conflicts will all previous census records of his parents.
