Rites for Local Businessman Set for Tuesday

Funeral services for Earl Cross, 66, of 3201 Penley Dr., owner andoper ator of Valet Cleaners, 1324 E. Central, will be held at 10 a.m.Tuesda y at Byrd-Snodgrass Funeral Home. He died Friday at WesleyHospital.

The Rev. W. E. McCoy, of Hilltop Community Church. will officiate.Buri al will be in Wichita Park Cemetery.

Born June 10, 1891, in Kingman, Kan., he married Mary Ensley Aug. 27,1 923, at Enid, Okla. Mr. Cross had resided in Wichita for 20 years.He c ame here from Hot Springs, N.M.

He was a member of Kingman Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge. Shrine andC onsistory of Wichita

Survivors, besides his wife. include three daughters; Mrs. FrankRojill o, Baton Rouge, La., Mrs Lavaughn Henning, Hawthorne Calif.,and Mrs. A l Mitschke, 611 N. Harding: three brothers, Art Cross,Venda, Kan., Har ley, Carthage, Mo., and Glennel, Kingman and twosisters, Mrs. Frank Pu lek, Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. HarveyHamilton, Kingman.
