"Death of an Aged Christian"
Lynchia Price, of Paintsville, KY, aged seventy-seven years, died ingr eat peace at the residence of her son, Rev. G. W. Price, on the21st da y of January , 1870. Her husband to whom she was joined inholy wedlock s ixty years ago, still survives, and is eighty-fouryears old. She leave s a large number of relatives, children,grandchildren, great-grandchil dren, and great-great-grandchildren tomourn her loss. For more than fo rty years she was an acceptablemember of the Baptist Church, and two o f her sons are ministers ofgreat usefulness in that Church. At the req uest of her children weaccompanied her remains to the family cemetery, n ear the oldhomestead, two miles from Paintsville, and performed the bu rialservice. It may be said of her in truth, that she lived to a good o ldage and having finished her course ascended to join her risen Lord and share the glories of His more immediate presence.
