Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock att he Newark Baptist Church for Mrs. Loucettia Arthur. Rev. Marion Noelwi ll officiate and burial will be in the Newark Cemetery. The bodywill l ie in state at the Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home here until thehour of t he services.
Mrs. Arthur passed away at the Donna Nursing Home in Spencer at 2:25o' clock yesterday morning.
Born in Beech Creek township on January 24, 1883, she was the daughtero f Roland and Elizabeth Bingham Bland. She had spent her entirelifetime i n that township, on Solsberry R. 1. She was a member of theNewark Bapt ist Church.
Her husband, David Arthur, and a sister, Mrs. Stella Padgett, precededh er in death.
Surviving Mrs. Arthur are five sons, Guy Arthur of Nashville, IvanArth ur of Jasonville, Lloyd Arthur and Earl Arthur of Solsberry andJohn W. A rthur of Seaside, California and four daughters, Mrs. HazelRelaford of C olumbus, Ohio ; Mrs. Anna Vandeventer of Worthington,Mrs. Pearl Crowe o f Spencer and Mrs. Ruth Richardson of Linton.
Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Jewey Goodwin and Mrs. EllaHamil ton of Bloomfield, Mrs. Della Livingston of Spencer and Mrs.Minnie Bay s of Solsberry, and five brothers, Harvey Bland ofBloomfield, Earl and D ewey Bland of Bloomington, Ralph Bland ofSolsberry and Ernest Bland of D ugger.
