Claude "Dude" Arthur, 68, died at 11:45 p.m. last night at his home inO wensburg and the funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. Sunday atth e Springville Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Methodistcemeter y. Born August 31, 1885, in Greene County, he was the son ofGranville a nd Alice (Bingham) Arthur. He married Stella Brown,January 6, 1912 in S pringville who survives. Besides the widow he issurvived by two daught ers, Mrs. Leona Byers of Worthington and Mrs.Violet Skeen of Bedford, t wo sons, Pikie Arthur of Springville andAuddie at home; a sister, Stel la Watkins of Newark, Indiana; brother,Everett Arthur of Springville; 1 1 grandchildren, and fourgreat-grandchildren. Four children preceded h im in death. He was amember of the Springville Methodist Church. The b ody will lie instate at the residence. Funeral arrangements are under t he directionof the Lehman Funeral Home.
