It has not been verified that Francis was Elijah's daughter but isplac ed here because Elijah and William Powell lived with her andDavid Ramp y in 1880. That census said she was born in GA, herparents in GA and S C, respectively.
Descendants called her Diana but her gravestone says Frances Powell,wi fe of D G Rampy and dates as posted. A small newer stone is alsothere w ith the same info except with the spelling of Rampey.
Buried in the same cemetery is Narcissus C Powell, 11/23/1825 -5/4/190 7. A spinster sister?
