No services will be held for Margaret "Peggy" Chilcoat Read, 84, ofCuy ahoga Falls.
Mrs. Read died peacefully at the Westley Glenn Health Care Center onWe dnesday after a 1 1/2-year battle wirh peritoneal cancer.
Born Margaret Ruth Chilcoat in Newark, March 22, 1919, she graduatedfr om the Pennsylvania School of Nursing, and worked as a nurse until1945 .
She traveled extensively, and lived in Israel, Chile, Argentina,Hollan d and Portugal, before making her home in Cuyahoga Falls forthe past 2 7 years.
Her husband, Robert, preceded her in death. She is survived by herdau ghters, Susan (Andre) Daab-Krzykowski, of Columbus, and Laurie(Robert) M orella, of Roswell, Ga, grandchildren, CecyliaDaab-Krzykowski, Ross Re ad Morella and Max Read Morella.
At Margaret's request, there will be no visistation or funeralservice. I n lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to theAmerican Cance r Society. Arrangements completed by theRutherford-Corbin Funeral Hom e, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio.
