ELKIN - Mrs. Martha L. Collins Swaim, 67, widow of Thomas Mack Swaim,d ied at 3:50 p.m. yesterday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. TedBaugess, i n the Pleasant Hill community of Wilkes County, after along illness.
Mrs. Swaim was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Hasten Swaim of Elkin and Moses Swaim ofRoarin g River; five daughters, Mrs. Eugene Couch, Mrs. StellaBaugess, Mrs. D aniel Creed, and Mrs. Ted Baugess, all of Elkin, andMrs. George A. Bro wn of Richmond Va.; 11 grandchildren; threegreat-grandchildren, and th ree brothers, Jim and Calvin of Elkin andGeorge Collins of High Point.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, at Pleasant HillBap tist Church. The Rev. David W. Day, the Rev. Marvin Burcham, theRev. W oodrow Wishon, and the Rev. Joe Wright will officiate. Burialwill be i n the church cemetery.
