Obediah Collins lived in yadkin Co, where he e. at age 30 on4-19-1862. R eported AWOL on 8-18-1862. Returned to duty in Sept1863. Present unt il 9-19-1864 when he was reported AWOL (NCT X, 23).
8/8/1870 Dist 1, PO Pineville, Josh Bell Co, KY. Apparently Obediaha nd Mary split and he remarried before the next census where he waslis ted as Obediah Collins, 36, farmer with $150 worth of real estate.The o nly other one in the house was Elizabeth, 19.
Bef 1878 Clay Co, KY where a son was born and died.
6/18/1880 Manchester Dist, Clay Co, KY. He was probably the ObeColli ns listed in that census at age 45 as a laborer. Son Lewis, 6,lived w ith him and shared the house with the Jarvis Lovin family.
Lilian Anne Constable from Oxfordshire, Eng submitted to LDS that hewa s born 1/31/1830.
His last son was born that year.
