May 8, 1744, Thomas Mask purchased additional land from Joseph Peacein G oochland Co., VA.

1755, William Mask, executor, in obedience to a decree of HanoverCourt a dvertises for sale 224 acres with a plantation on the head ofAllen's C reek in Goochland Co. This land belonged to Thomas Mask,late, of Hanov er Co., dec'd, and is now sold to pay his debts. Thisis the land that T homas Mask bought from Joseph Peace on Jun 20, 1743and May 8, 1744.

"But it is a fact that in 1755, Thomas Mask died leaving a will inHano ver County in which he named William Mask (who I think is the onewho w ent to NC with brother John) as his executor. This is found in adeed d ated 25 Feb 1756 in which William Mask "surviving Executor ofthe last W ill and Testament of Thomas Mask late of the county ofHanover Deceased o f the one part..." sold land to William Joyner. Inthe same deed it ref ers to "...a Suit in Chancery then thereDepending between Mary Mask, a nd [sic] Infant, and William neeves andChristian his Wife complainants a nd the sd. William Mask survivingExecutor of the last Will and Testame nt of the sd. Thomas MaskDecd..."
