Mary Grace Coonrod, daughter of David M. and Ruth Coonrod, was bornOct . 15, 1885, and departed this life March 1, 1901; at 11 o'clockp.m., a ged 15 years, 4 months and 16 days. She was taken with aviolent attack o f scarlet fever and was sick only six days and thenews of ger death wa s a shock to almost everyone. She was a bright,promising young lady an d was loved and respected by all who knew her.She was of a very religi ous disposition and often expressed herselfto the writer as being deri rous of becoming a christian. Owing to thedisease, only a short prayer s ervice was held at the home Fridayafternoon, conducted by Rev. J.W. Ke ller, after which the remainswere laid to rest in the Buffalo cemetery . She leaves a father,mother, four sisters, two brothers and a host of f riends to mourn herloss.
