Between William WHITLEY and Lucy his wife and Ann WHITLEY widow andrel ict of
Elisha WHITLEY dec.d of the one part and John UZZELL of the otherpart, e ach of the State of Virginia and county of Isle of Wight
Witnesseth that the Said William WHITLEY and Lucy his wife and AnnWHIT LEY for
and in consideration of the sum of Seven hundred dollars to them inhan d paid
by the said John UZZELL the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged

presents do grant bargain and Sell alien enfeoff and confirm unto thes aid
John UZZELL his heirs and assigns
All that tract or parcel of land containing one hundred and fiftyacres b e the Same more or less lying and being in the countyaforesaid and was c onveyed to the Said William WHITLEY by his fatherthe aforesaid Elisha W HITLEY as by deed of Gift recorded in the courtof the said county, the e ighth day of July One thousand eight hundredwill more fully appear and b ounded as follows

proved 4 Apr 1815; William WHITLEY was one of the witnesses(WB13:467- 68).
His widow Nancy UZZELL left will 22 Feb 1841 (codicil 12 Jun 1844),pr oved
1 Feb 1847 (WB23:294-95), which named as her executrix & principalleg atee
