Wife Susannah was 48 and theirlarge f amily consisted of James M, 26, Lydia A, 18, Jeremiah R, 114,Emera, 13 , Rachel, 12, David, 8, and Catherine J, 6. The two oldersons were al so farmers. All the children were born in IN, theparents in NC. They w ere the only Floyds in the county.

Francis was a twin to Basil.
Some family listings say Francis died 7/17/1890 but Susanna was awidow a nd living with son Emory in 1880.
