Having lost her mother, at census time on 6/5/1860 Sarah Gundy, 12,liv ed in Springfield Twp, PO Chillicothe, Ross Co, OH with the familyof S ennet Allen as a domestic. There were several various othernames in t he large household as well. In the same county were herfather, Henry G undy in Green Twp, and Uncle Jacob "Gandy" inChillicothe Twp.
