HEART TROUBLE
Caused Death of Mrs. Elizabeth Ross at Her Home SundayMorning.
Elizabeth Ross, widow of James G. Ross, died at her home, 379East Franklin Street, Sunday morning, February 24. She had been illfor the past ten days of heart trouble.
Mrs. Ross was born in Saltcreek township May 18, 1834 and was thedaughter of Jacob and Sarah Morris Whisler. She had been a residentof this city for the past thirty years. Her husband died some yearsago.
two sons and three daughters survive. They are John D. ross ofSalina, Kansas; talmadge E Ross, of Pickaway township; Laura, wife ofM.K. Dresbach of Sunbury; Mrs. Sadie G. Holderman of Pickawy township,and Mis Mame E Ross, of this city.
Of her immediate family four brothers ant two sisters are living.They are Jacob Whisler, of Lincoln, Nebraska; John Whisler, ofLafayette, Indiana; Simon Whisler, of Romney, Indiana; Orvin Whislerand Mrs. D Wood, of Mt. Sterling; and Mrs Anna Himes, of Hoisington,Kansas.
Mrs. Ross was a member of the Baptist church.
The funeral services will be held at her late home Tuesdayafternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Rev. Gail Hanover, of Ashville, willofficiate. Interment will be made in Ebenezer cemetery."
