6/1/1880 Same place. That year the census taker recorded WilliamPole n at 38, still farming, with wife Maria, 32, and a large family:Clinto n, 12, Emma, 10, Amos, 8, John, 5, Mary, 3, and Raleigh, 10months. Al so living there were Mary Van Gundy, 45, Maria's sister.Three doors do wn was the Samuel Van Gundy family.
