8/1917 3 Beecher City, Effingham Co, IL. John's address there wasverified when listed among the survivors of brother Ernest. He musthave moved back "home" near his place of birth and the many Reynoldsrelatives there.
9/12/1918 Beecher City, Effingham Co, IL was his address when heregistered for the draft at age 36. He was a self employed farmer,gave wife Ollie as his nearest relative. The registrar recorded himas tall and slender with gray eyes and brown hair and a withered arm.
1/5/1920 Liberty Twp, Effingham Co, IL. The census listed only JohnE , 37, and wife Lena O, 24, in the household both born in IL as wereall parents. John was a general farmer.
4/17/1930 Same place. That year he was 48, married for the firsttime at age 36. Wife Ollie was 32, married at 22. They owned theirhome, John's occupation was stock and poultry farmer. There werestill no chil dren.
