Elizabeth was born in VA so was mostlik ely Dora's grandmother as her parents were also born in VA. Inthe sam e township were Dora's parents.

Laf ayette's parents were born in PA and OH respectively,Minerva's in TN a nd MO. She had birthed 7 children, 3 of whom haddied. Children in th e house were Ernest, 10, Hugh, 3, and Julmic, 4months. Step-daughter M aud, 13, was also listed as a Van Gundy.Lafayette was a farmer.
4/13/1910 Dist 205, Gooding village, Lincoln Co, ID. The censusliste d "Layfayett" at age 51, a stone mason, married 21 years toMinerva, 45 , who had birthed 7 children but only 3 still survived.The only other p erson in the house was son Hugh, 13.
1/15/1920 Dist 37, Lafayette town, Boulder Co, CO. At census timeLaf ayette was 61, with the occupation of laborer at odd jobs, but hedid o wn the home free of a mortgage. Wife Minerva was 55. Livingwith them w as orphaned granddaughter Venora, 3 yr 9 mo. Next doorwas son Hugh.
Probate court/guardian papers say he was 7 on/about August 1864.
Was Lafe buried in Lafayette with the rest of the family? There is nor ecord of him in cemetery records.
