Nancy Jane was only three weeks old when her mother Jerutia died. Afam ily named Keeling took her in and reared her.The family thensecretly m oved from where George lived, fearing that George wouldreclaim her. Na ncy lived with the Keeling's until her marriage at age28. In later ye ars she sought out and visited her Summa family inIndiana. This is acc ording to Grover C. Zorn, son of Nancy Jane.
