Mary Meyer's data on Henry's family has only this to say of HenryBaugh man [Jr.] . . . 'The only information we have found concerningthis Hen ry is on a deed recorded in Franklin Co., Ohio, 4 Oct 1841 inwhich he q uit claimed land to one Henry Zinn (husband of Sarah Agler, sister of M ary Agler Baughman) for the sume of $10.00 paid by HenryBaughman of Au glaize Co. (Allen Co.). Henry, the son, was said to be'of Franklin Cou nty' at the same time." A Henry Baughman is listed onpage 759 (pencill ed number) page 380 (stamped number) of the 1850census for Franklin Co unty, Columbus, Ward One. I failed to recordthe street or house number ( if stated). This Henry's age is listed as26 which would make him about t he right age for Henry [Jr.] He giveshis occupation as a guard at the s tate penitentiary. Oh yes I do havehis address in a manner of speaking . He lives at the prison, butappears to be an employee not an inmate. H e also says he was born inOhio and is literate."
