Frank M. Coonrod, who resides at 323 North Huff street, one of Whiteco unty's respected citizens, died suddenly yesterday afternoon at thehom e of Samuel Watkins in East Monticello, death being due toparalysis of t he heart. Mr. Coonrod had been assisting Mr. Watkinswith some farm wor k and had gone into the barn where he sat down on abox. Mr. Watkins fo llowed him into the barn a few minutes later andfound him lying on the f loor. Dr. H.W. Greis was summoned but he wasdead before the doctor arr ived.
Frank M. Coonrod was born on November 18, 1844 in Marion county, Ohio,w here he spent his boyhood. He was married in 1865 to IsabelMarshall, i n Marion county, where they took on their residence andcontinued to re side there until 1871 when they moved to White countynorth of Buffalo. T hey resided near Buffalo for many years but latermoved to Liberty town ship near the Valley school house, where theylived until they came to M onticello fifteen months ago.
During his residence in White county he had made a host of friends whot ogether with his wife, two sons, Frank of Marion, Ohio, and Lemuelof A lberta, Canada, a brother, George Coonrod of Canton, Ohio, andtwo half s isters, deeply mourn the loss of their beloved friend andrelative.
