A native of Lawson, he was born sept 11,1899, the s on of the late Charles Van Gundy and Mrs. Lucy Bell HufftVan Gundy. h e was farmer during his entire life. he was a member ofthe Christian U nion church and a member of Modern Woodmen. Survivorsinclude his wido w, mrs Virginia Greelee Van Gundy; one daughter, mrsLucille Duncan of L awson, Three grandsons and three greatgrandchildren. The rev Wilbur H olman of Excelsior Springs was theofficiating minister. Burial was in t he Lawson Cemetery."
