He gavehis fat her, same address, as his nearest relative. The Registrar'sReport sa ys he was medium height and build with blue eyes and brownhair.

"A funeral service for Charles William Van Gundy was held Wednesday,Se pt 24, from the Christian Union church near Lawson. He died Sundayat h is hom. He was 76. A native of Lawson, he was born sept 11,1899, the s on of the late Charles Van Gundy and Mrs. Lucy Bell HufftVan Gundy. h e was farmer during his entire life. he was a member ofthe Christian U nion church and a member of Modern Woodmen. Survivorsinclude his wido w, mrs Virginia Greelee Van Gundy; one daughter, mrsLucille Duncan of L awson, Three grandsons and three greatgrandchildren. The rev Wilbur H olman of Excelsior Springs was theofficiating minister. Burial was in t he Lawson Cemetery."
