A ll were born in OH except the last three children inKS. Parents of bo th John and Lucinda were born in PA. Elmore wasstill farming. They w ere the only ones by the name in the county.Five doors down was the Jo hn Baxter family, most likely Lucinda'sbrother as he was 45, also born i n OH, parents in PA and had a sonnamed Elmore.

4/1910 Same place. That census taker recorded Elmore Vangundy at age7 3, married 25 years to 2nd wife, Lucinda M, 41, (her first marriage)an d adopted daughter Edna O, 19.
1/26/1920 El Reno Ward 1 & 2, Canadian Co, OK. Listed as widowedfath er-in-law, Elmore Vangundy, 82, lived with daughter Edna andGeorge C H arbold. Elmore was born in OH but both parents in Holland.
