7/15/1880 Loramie, Shelby Co, OH. It seems everyone had moved backhome before the next census. Recorded there as head of family #232was A.J. VanGunday and wife Eliza, both 43 years old with 4 daughters:Mary L, 14, Lydia M J, 12, Martha A L, 8, and Edith E, 5. Andrew was afarmer. In the same building were his parents as family #233, andbrother James R, family #234.

6/16/1900 Mattoon Twp, Coles Co, IL. Before that census he and atleast part of his family had moved farther west. In that census hewas listed as Andy Vangundy, 62, he and both parents born in MO; hiswife's name was Betheny , 61, born IN. They were married in 1870(maybe 1890? Eliza was still with him in 1880), Bethany had givenbirth to 10 children but only two still lived. Andy worked as alaborer. Daughter Mary and Frank Hennong lived in the same town.
5/2/1910 Mattoon, Coles Co, IL. At census time that year Andrew JVan Gundy was 72 years old and living with divorced daughter Mary LHenning. His and his parents' birth places were correct at OH/OH/VA.He was retired with his own income.
The 1900 census says he was born in WI.
He is buried in Sec 5, Div Q, Grave gr 17-Vet.
