H e came to Illinois with his parents at the age offifteen, driving thro ugh from Wisconsin in a covered wagon. He wasmarried to Mariah Selby. F eb. 5, 1891 who is left with an only onedaughter, Freda. She also leav es one sister, Mrs. J. A. Buxton ofSullivan, three brothers: Charles W alker of Chicago, Thomas andWillis Walker of Arcadia, Ind. Mr. Walker a nd his family resided on afarm near Sullivan until a few years ago whe n they moved to Sullivan.The interment was in the Greenhill cemetery.
