He and R osella fought over his drinking.But when he was not drinking, he was a v ery good man to everyone. Hewas a very handsome man, Mildred thought. R osella was the bossthough, she punished the kids and paid for their up k eep."

1910 Joplin, Jasper Co, MO. His profession was Teamster at censustim e. He and "Rose" had 5 children aged 5-16.
1920 Galena Twp, Joplin, Jasper Co, MO. The census said he was acarp enter and he and Rose had 4 children still at home andgranddaughter, M ildred, 3, as an adopted daughter.
The cause of death was chronic pulmonary turerculosis.
