11/1800 Augusta Co, VA Mullen vs. McGuire.--Samuel McGuire was anoff icer (Lieutenant) in the 4th Regiment, U. S. Army, and underarrest and r equired to keep his quarters when the sheriff arrestedand imprisoned h im for debt. Upon habeas corpus he was released.
