7/9/1870 Same place. Back together again before the next census,Ruba rtus was 55, Margaret was 67. Rubartus was still farming with$300 in r eal estate, no personal property recorded. Living with themwas Cather ine Shewmaker, 23, housekeeper. Three doors down wasMargaret's daught er, Elizabeth and James Shorter.
6/2/1880 Still there. That year the census recorded him as Ribartis,a w idower at age 63, and still farming. Both parents were born inVA. He w as the only Guy in the county and Margaret's children weregone as well .
