Notes for William WOMACK


Apparently William never married as his estate was divided amongsiblin gs and their children.
He died intestate and without issue. Brother Thomas served asadminist rator of his estate with division of the estate in 1803 tosiblings and t heir children.

William Womack's Will - January 30th, 1790.

" This day being called on by Simon Jackson to make mention of theword s of William Wamack of Charlotte County decd. who departed thislife th e above date within who appeared to be in his proper sencescall on us w hose names are under written to take notice that the saidWilliam Womac k did give to Elizabeth Jackson wife of Simon Jacksonone certain negro w oman known by the name of Betty and her increaseduring her life and at h er death to be disposed of by the saidElizabeth Jackson as she might t hink proper and the Wamack call on usto take notice that it is his des ire that Simon Jackson should takecharge of the plantation whereon he t hen lived and everything thereonand to keep them togather until he mad e a crop for the ensuing yearas witness each of our hands the above da te written in the presenceof (S)
