7/10/1745 Amelia Co, VA. Abraham Womack patented 403 acres of landth ere.

Abt 1756 Hogan's Creek, Orange Co, NC

Abraham and brother-in-law Wyatt Stubblefield were among petitionersas king the NC governor to create the county that became known asCaswell. W hen Orange Co was divided, into Caswell and Person,Abraham found himse lf living in Caswell.

1782 Caswell Co, NC. He bought 382 acre on Hogan's Creek.

1873 He bought another 205 acres on Story Creek.

8/20/1783 According to NC Archives, Abraham Womack was aRevolutionary W ar Patriot and was paid nine pounds specie (gold orsilver coins) for " Patriotic Service" for rendering material aid tothe cause.
Abraham's will was proved 10/1800. It said:

Will of Abraham Womack,
15 September 1796.

In the name of God amen I Abraham Womack being weak in Body but of aSo und mind and memory thanks be to God, and Calling to mind themortality o f the body and knowing its appointed that all men mustdie, do Constitu te make and appoint this my last Will and Testamentin Manner following . I Recommend my soul to God and my body to theEarth, as to my worldly e ffects I dispose of as following.

Item I give and bequeath to my Son William Womack twenty pounds, to bep aid in property or Trade together with what he has already receivedin f ull of his part, to him and his heirs forever.

Item I give to my Daughter Mary Benton five Shillings together withwha t she has already received to her and her heirs forever.

Item I give to my Daughter Nancy Engram five shillings together withwh at she has already received to her and heirs forever.

Item I give to my Daughter Lucy Engram one bed and furniture togetherw ith what she has already received to her and her heirs forever theSum o f given William Womack is Twenty Pounds.

Item I give to my Daughter Sinic BRAKIN my NEGRO MAN AMOS togetherwith w hat she already received to her and her heirs forever.

Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter Elizabeth WOMACK my NEGROWOMAN S ETTICE AND HER SON GILBERT, two feather beds and furniture, ahorse and S addle, four head Cattle, Six head sheep, my chest half,the Cupboard fu rniture to her and her heirs forever.

Item I give and bequeath to my son Josiah WOMACK my TWO NEGRO BOYSPETE R AND HENLY, also all my lands that I am possessed of or have anyright o r title to, also all my stock of horses, cattle, hoggs, sheepexcept su ch as I have hereto given, also all my plantation utensalsand househol d furniture, money, outstanding debts and every part orparcel of my
estate real and personal not otherwise disposed of after paying mydebt s and legacies to him and his heirs forever.

I do appoint my son Josiah WOMACK and my friend William BETHELLexecuto rs of this my last will and testament revoking anddisannulling all for mer will and sequences heretofore made ratifyingand confirming this an d no other to be my last will & testamentwhereof I have set my hand an d seal this 15th day of September, A. D.1796.

Rec'd of Asa Dupuy, one of the commissioners to theEst ate of William Womack, dec'd, of Charlotte County Virginia, thesum of o ne hundred eighteen dollars and sixty seven cents, that beingone fourt h of one ninth of that part of the estate of William Womackdec'd that h as fallen into the hands of James Dupuy and Asa Dupuy tobe divided bet ween the parties interested. I am entitled to aninterest in said estat e in the manner following, viz., my father,Abraham Womack Jr. of Caswe ll County, N. Carolina, was a son ofAbraham Womack Sen'r of Lincoln Co unty, N.Carolina, which saidAbraham Womack Sen'r was a brother of Will iam Womack, dec'd ofCharlotte County VA and had four children, to wit, A braham (who wasmy father), Elizabeth, Mary and Abner. My grandfather, A braham WomackSen'r, was entitled to one ninth of William Womack's esta te and myfather was
entitled to one fourth of my grandfather's interest (viz. a ninth)whic h said fourth of a ninth I am entitled to under the last will ofmy fat her, hereto annexed.
