George died at age 67. He had served as sexton for the Bournevilleceme tary until his retirement in the fall of 1936. He had a brothernamed H enry who lived in London,Ohio,19 grand children and one greatgrandchil d at the time of his death.
He like to hunt as evidensed by a hunting license preserved from Nov.1 8, 1929. It lists his height as 5'6", gray hair and blue eyes,weight 1 50 pounds. He would have been 59 at the time. It lists hisoccupation a s laborer.The fee was one dollar and authorized thebearer to kill game .
He died of a "cerebral hemorrhage". Probably a stroke.
