Friday,Feb. 19, 1999, at t he Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home with Rev. AndrewRobinson officiating. I nterment will be in Mullen Cemet ery,Montrose. Visitation will be from 5
to 8 P.M. Thursday(today), at the funeral home. Lonnie Dean Elliottwas b orn April 27, 1932, at Toledo, Illinois, a son of Elmer and ErnaElliot t. He married Hazel Lou Grissom February 20, 1954, at Toledo,she survi ves. Also surviving are his mother, Erna Elliott of Mattoon;brothers, D on Elliott and wife Bitsy of Mattoon, Gary Elliott andwife Patricia of T ilton, Larry Elliott and wife Ann of North Augusta,SC, Jerr y Elliott a nd wife Billie of Fern Park, FL, Richard Elliottand wife Karen of Litt le Elm, TX and Randy Elliott and wife Donna ofMattoon. a sister, Luell a Gentry and husband Lloyd of Mattoon as wellas brothers-in-law, Dean G rissom and wife Marsha of Sanford, FL,Curtis Joe Grissom of Mattoon; s isters-in-la w, Ruth Croy and husbandWarren of Toledo and Ellen Clark a nd husband Don of Jewett survive aswell. Mann. Mr. Elliott was a member of New Life Apost olic Church inCharle ston and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was formerlyemployed at th e Sally Ann Bakery in Mattoon. He moved to Danville in1967 wh ere he o wned and operated an Archway Cookie franchise andlater owned and ope r ated Elliott Furniture also in Danville.
