The olderboys were l aborers. Two doors down was son Thomas.
7/19/1870 Still there, By the next census Humphrey, 83, was stillfar ming but apparently had divided up the farm as his land was valuedat o nly $750. He had no personal property . Nancy ws recorded at80. Livi ng with the old couple were John, 50, farmer, Mary, 45,Miriam, 33, Mil es, 10, Flora, 6, Cath. B, 3, and Calvin, 13. SonThomas was three doo rs down the road.
His father's biography says he died in Licking Co, OH, mostresearchers s ay he died in Harre's Valley, Cass Twp, Huntingdon Cobut he lived in U nion Twp so most likely died there.
