8/7/1820 Capt Dennies Dist, Surry Co, NC. Obadiah Collins' householdi ncluded himself at age 45+, 1 male 10-16, 1 at 16-26, and 1 femalealso o ver 45. Two of them were involved in agriculture. DaughterJuria and J oshua Finney lived in the same district. In the samecounty but differ ent districts were families of Aaron, William, Adam,and John Collins.

In the name of God, Amen. I do make this my last will and testament soi t was ordered by the Almighty for man onst to dy and after death toJud gement.
First, I will my soul to God that gave it to me and my body to thegrav e and to be decently buried and all my just debts to be paid andas to m y worldly goods
I gave and bequeath to my beloved wife, Patsey Collins all my realesta te and personal goods during her natural life or widowhood
and then my son Sidney Collins I gave and bequeath to him 75 acres ofl and north of my tract beginning at my maple corner running eastthrough t he tract for conpletement
and I gave and bequeath to my son Hiram Collins 75 acres to begin atmy r ed oak corner on the oar hill run east to the River Gate Branch.
There being a balance of 25 acres I have marked out for my daughterJur iah Finney where they now live on that I have made no write forbut if I s urvive I shall do so my Executor must do so if not
and as to my daughters Mary Castevens and Bethelhelm Morrison, JuriahF inney I wish them to have all my personal part of my estate to beequal ly divided at my wifes death
and my daughter Elizabeth Sisk I bequeath and gave to her one dollarou t of my personal part of my estate
