Consideration #400.00described as follows, to wit, lying and being in the County of StCharles Mo. on the waters of D ardenne adjoining the lands of AndrewZumwalt and being part of the Zum walt tract or grant on which he(Zumwalt) now lives. Note: Thomas Dozer/Dozier and Catherine, his wife, sold this land for$ 550.00 one year later (1819) to John H. Castlio and wife, Yearslater, i n 1841, John C. and Fortunatus Castlio laid claim to propertyunder spe cial Warranty Claim. In 1828, John C. Castlio and Mary E.his wife, con veyed 122.39 acres of this land to William M. Castliofor $3200.00

"Andrew Zumwalt to Noah Zumwalt, General Warranty Deed, dated 9 Jun182 6, Executed and acknowledged regularly by grantor and wife, filed11 Ju l 1826, recorded same day in book H, pages 180/181 Described asfollows : A tract lying and being in St Charles County Mo. in DardenneTownship o n the river Dardenne containing 144 acres more or lessbounded as follo ws. Beginning at a stake and pointers a corner ofsaid Andrew Zumwalt's l and running South 10 degree 37 chains to awhite oak sapling thence Nor th 80 degree East 22 & three Quarterchains to a small cottonwood in Jo hn Castlio's field thence South 10& one half degree East 3 & three qua rter chains to a white oak treethence North 81 degree east 17 & one qu arter chains to a small blackoak sapling thence North 27 degree West 3 6 chains to a large red oaktree thence 13 degree West 12 & one half ch ains to a small maple treein the line of the said Andrew Zumwalt thenc e along said line to theplace of beginning.
