Coleman was still a farmer as wasWilliam, the sons were farm hands. Coleman may have taken overbrother Joshua's farm when he moved to Arcola because next door wereJohn and America Davis who lived next door to Joshua in 1870. Johnwas born PA and KY, but his father was born in Ireland so if relatedto our Davis family, it was back in the old country.
His stone says C. L. Davis.
