In the name of God, Amen I, Joseph Campbell Sen'r, being weak in bodyb ut of perfect mind and memory, do make this my last will andtestament v iz.
To my wife Rebecca I do give and bequeath the use of my plantation asl ong as she may think proper to live on it or rent it out. Also asmany f arming tools as my executor shall think necessary, which is allto retu rn to my estate at her death and applied to a use here aftermentioned, b ut if she sees cause to give the land & farming tools upbefore her dea th they are to be sold and also applied to the aboveuse. Also, a mare n amed Mike with their choice of two cows, and herbed and bedding and ch est. Also, as much provisions for man andbeast as my executor shall s ee necessary. Also a chest of drawersand a falling leaf table to be h ers and her heirs.
Second, I give and bequeath to my sons-in-law John Fulton and RobertCo wan, Jos. Hall & my sons, John and Elisha each of them one FrenchCrown t o be levied out of my estate.
Third, to my son-in-law, Sam'l Orton one brown colt with what propertyh e received with his wife.
All monies arising from my estate is to be equally divided amongst myc hildren that is not mentioned yet with allowing what they havereceived t o be valued and counted out of it.
Fifth, when my land and tools above mentioned is sold the one half oft he prices to be applied to my son Elijah, and the other half to beequa lly divided amongst my three other youngest sons, all unmentionedprope rty to be sold, my debts paid and applied as above mentioned.
I do hereby ordain and appoint my son Adlai as my whole and soleexecut or. I do hereby disannul all other wills here-to-fore made anddo orda in this as my last will & testament
