Before the next census John I Purvis hadreceiv ed a promotion at the ice plant to Sationary engineer, he ownedthe hom e valued at $600 and had a radio, and he had also gained ason. John wa s 46 years old, married for the first (and only time) atage 20 to Myrt le, 44, who was 18 at marriage. Son Hayward I was 7,daughter Helen wa s missing so probably had married.
