1823 Crawford Co, OH, where the last 5 children were born.

From the History of Wyandot Co, OH, Sycamore Twp, First Settlers:

"Between 1823 and 1826, Jacob Hersbberger and family, Solomon Pontiusa nd family, William Griffith and family, Samuel and Bribner Hudsonand t heir families, Abram and Samuel Bair and their families,Benjamin Van G undy and family, William Goodman and family, Williamand Samuel Caughey a nd families, Jacob Combs and his family, fromVirginia; Gershom Cunning ham and family."

1830 Sycamore Twp, Crawford Co, OH. In the census Benjamin was oneof 4 m ales in the house that were 20-30 years old. Also living therewere 1 m ale under 5, 1 male 15-20 , 2 females 5-10, 2 females 10-15,2 females 1 5-20, and 1 female 20-30. On the next page and next twpwas Joseph Van G undy.

1837 Benjamin sold some land to Martha Holman, details unknown.

12/17/1839 Crawford Co, OH. Benjamin and Sarah transferred 80 acresl ocated at S15 TL R15, described as W 1/2 of NE 1/4 to James R andDanie l Dunlap for $786.
Cemetery records say he was born 1804 but that is impossible if hemarr ied in 1811.
Letters of administration of his estate were issued on 5/5/1843.

Josiah Myers was appointed guardian of son, Benjamin.
