The Rev. W.A. Van Gundy of Hutchinson, Ill, led his five year oldb oy to the reform school by a leather strap, one end of which wastied a round the boy's neck. After the boy had been placed in theschool the f ather returned to his church and conducted the usualservice. (No furth er explanation was given.)
