6/15/1880 Same place. That year the census taker recorded Abraham at36, Catherine at 32. Their family consisted of Cora A, 7, Ivy D, 6,Rossella, 4, Cyrus W, 2, and Jacob K, 7 months. Neighbors were namedMerriman, Polen (including Catherine's 70 year old father), and MariaVan Gundy, widow of Jonathan.

"Died: A.W. Vangundy, aged nearly 61 years, died at the home of hisbrother, J.C. Vangundy, in Kiowa Monday of last week. The remains weretaken to Ohio for burial."
