William attended Carthage (IL) college and the University of IL. Hewa s a member of the Sadhe Aleph fraternity at Carthage and the FarmHouse f raternity at the U of I. Before enlisting in the Navy inNovember 1942 , he was "associated" with his father in the Huey SeedCo.
