Following the death of her parents Fanny was adopted by H H and ClaraS isson where she was found by the 1880 census taker at age 12. Theyliv ed in Sheridan Twp, Logan Co, IL at the time. H H was a farmer,his pr operty was not recorded but it must have been a large farm as3 farm h ands and a female domestic servant were also counted there.
