Eva was instrumental in starting the Sunday School which developedinto t he First General Baptist Church of Mattoon. She attained thehighest d egree of Religious Education for Laymen in that denominationand taught S unday School classes and Leadership Training classes aswell as serving i n various other capacities.
She also wrote poetry.
Schilling Funeral Home was in charges of funeral services which wereheld at the General Baptist Church with Rev Doran Gregory and RevJames Bunyard.
