6/24/1880 Rossville, Vermilion Co, IL. John was recorded by thecensu s taker at age 43, his wife was Nana, 44. (Was that Mariah?)The child ren were William, 14, Charles, 12, Franck, 10 and Stella, 1,who was hi s brother's child. Down the road lived the Milton Leefamily, Mariah's s ister and brother-in-law.
Where was this couple in 1900 if neither died until after that?
Some researchers say he died 3/13/1913 but Mariah filed for widow'spen sion on 3/14/1912.
