9/4/1850 Cain Twp, Fountain Co, IN. In that census William was a 35y ear olf farmer with real estate valued at $400. Delilah was 32 andthe ir children were: Anna M, 9, John, 7, Amanda, 4, and Margaret, 1.Livi ng with them were his aged parents, John at 71, Anna M, 77.
8/24/1860 Mill Creek, PO Harveysburg, Fountain Co, OH. At censustime W illiam H Redenbaugh, 48, had a housefull with wife Delila, 44,Anna M, 1 9, John, 17, Amanda, 13, Mary A, 11, Levi, 8, Viola, 6, andRiley, 3. W illiam's estate had grown to 2000/380 and he stillfarmed.
8/1/1870 Same place. William Redenbaugh, 58, was a farmer, accordingt o the census, but had only personal property worth $800. WifeDelilah, 5 2, had $3200 in real estate. Children at home were Mary A,21, Levi, 1 9, Viola, 16, and Riley, 14. It appears they were livingwith nephew E lijah Simmons, 29, but why?
6/17/1880 Still there. The old couple lived alone at census time,Wil liam Redenbaugh, 67, and Delila, 62. He was still farming. Nextdoor w as a Willis Redenbaugh, 43, nephew or son?
The cemetery is full of generations of Redenbaughs.
