ROSA MAY ARTHUR (nee Bonham) was born in Moultrie County, IllinoisJune 5 , 1869. She married George Arthur September 3, 1886, and diedat her h ome in Arcola March 12, 1900 after a long illness ofconsumption. Abou t seven years ago she united with the JonathanCreek Christian church, u nder the preaching of Elder Morgan. HerChristian faith was only brigh tened by her long illness, ever waitingfor the last change.
Services and interment were at Jonathan Creek church. Rev. J. A.Cleme nts of Tuscola officiating. She leaves a husband and fivelittle child ren.
