1816 Pickaway Co, OH where Jacob was listed as a taxpayer.
His gravestone says he was 44 when he died, making his birth year 1772b ut that makes him too young for his marriage and first child'sbirth.
Woolery Coonrod was appointed administrator of Jacob's estate on3/14/1 817 even though he was only 20 years old at the time. Woolery,along w ith John Keller and Joseph Kelly, posted a $1000 bond.
The appraisal was completed and signed by Joseph Yates, John Keller.Jr a nd James Cooper, Jr on 4/1/1817 but JP Henry Coonrod (brother ofJacob) s ubstituted the name of Anthony Brasher in place of JamesCooper on his r ecords.
Among the buyers at the estate sale were brother John Coonrod, nephewsH enry Coonrod Jr, and Woolery Coonrod Jr, and new son-in-law DanielSwig art.
