Theadults were all born in IN, the children in IL. Jacob was a daylaborer with $50 worth of personal property only. Rebecca wasrecorded as serving (servant ?).
8/11/186? He enlisted at Camp Butler, Springfield, IL to serve in theC ivil War effort for 3 years.
9/8/186? He was mustered into Co E 97th Reg of the IL Vol Inf as Pvt.
He died of measles while serving in the Civil War.
